Renamon and his digivolutions except for Sakuyamon are male in the german Tamers dub. It's like Renamon is a male older wise teacher to Rika in the german Tamers dub a bit like Archer from Fate towards Rin and then he gender benders or Rika takes over in his mega form.

Yeah but in every other dub she was explicitly female which made later different Renamon from games and spinoffs funny since most have been male (looking at you Survive), now she got a male themed line.

The german dub had some other weird choices like Cherubimon being male in 02 but female in Frontier and Lucemon being a girl. I think I remember Ophanimon also having a female voice in the german dub of Frontier while Frontier's Patamon had his 01 voice.
