Series like this do tend to go the route of "beat one delinquent then stronger one appears " until the mafia gets involved, it's one of the things i hated the most with gookshit like girls of the wilds and random chat, the comfier SOL with action and character development eventually degrades into a monster of the week repetitive format
This one escalated it so quickly and suddenly that now it's basically confirmed to be absurd repetitive slop with shock value thrown randomly here and there. Why should i care about the characters struggles when i don't care about the characters themselves?

Ideally this manga needed to linger longer on the comfy SOL violence until it was well established to go into more "serious" territory, the fact it just jumped into it so abruptly means this is no longer something to bother taking seriously, just gonna be a memefest of absurdity without emotional weight
