My thoughts on the... ethics? Okay, from an objective POV: if you have technically been alive long enough to have worked for a living, have struggled with bills or achieved enough to not have to ever worry about them, or whatever else, and failed and succeeded more times than most, then you yourself could only be considered a giant fucking catch for any character you get into a relationship with, because you'll technically be wise, skilled, and experienced way beyond your years.

There's a lot of optics where isekai is concerned, but the premise of age regression without mental regression can only be said to make the protagonist, or (You), if you want to self-insert, a genuinely valuable member of your new society. You will be able to open doors that you couldn't have even imagined existed, if and when you were an actual child.

I find it more hilarious the idea that "mental age" is a thing and that your mental age progresses linearly together with your biological age. There's difference in maturity between normal people with the same age, imagine some mentally ill guy who spent his entire teenage and adult years stuck in his room, it's insane to entertain the idea that he would be anything but a manchild.

The argument usually goes that an adult can't have sex with a teenager because the adult is more mature and could thus be taking advantage of them, but since two teenagers are most likely of the same maturity level it's okay. This is a huge generalization since it wouldn't be possible to truly assess each individual to know how capable they are of taking advantage of others and then issuing underage sex licences to them.
