After everything went down in the story he knows about Mirio, Knuckleduster, Stain, Bakugo and so on.
Yet what did he do, he gave up being a hero, he stopped training and only returned to do shit when his friends handed him an iron man suit.
He is utter garbage and learned nothing, he did not progress as a person at all and only gives effort when promised greatness.
