The first season is good. It's kind of like a slice of life version of the main series, absolutely nails the vibe of the OG series but the stakes are a lot lower. Soundtrack is top notch, amazingly not the same composer but for sure you could believe it was.
Second season is faster paced and not as comfy, but still some good moments.

Every single time, NO it wasn’t. Season 1 failed to bring the personality of the characters and alternative the story. You don’t meet or interact with other magia characters like in the game. No one was saved or had a ending like the original because the company who created the anime rushed it to death. You’ll never get part 2 of magia record anime because important characters are dead.
