However, why were you fags saying that Marina would be redeemed with this and everyone would start liking her?
She is certainly more calm and decent after becoming a teenager, but Shizuka still tried to kill herself so that means Marina STILL ended up bullying her to suicide as a kid, making her an evil bitch as a kid like all anons thought.
Moreover, it is shown that Marina is actually (though unintentionally) the one who instilled murderous thoughts/values into Takopii, and technically induced her own death by camera (making Shizuka innocent if there was any doubt).
You could say oh but Shizuka stole her boyfriend so Marina was right in the end, but Shizuka did nothing except just exist; it was the simp kid who decided to break up with her and get with Shizuka because he had a puppy love and crush with her.

This is something that will be touched upon more in the final episode, but the message I got from reading the manga is that it is important to properly talk to others, convey your feelings and try to understand their's.

You can see this from the interaction between Takopi and his mother. His mother just went "How DARE you?! I'll brainwash and exile you!" without even knowing what killing means, and it was only after Takopi had his outburst that she wanted to understand him.
On the other hand you have Takopi who, instead of trying to properly explain himself to his mother or asking why she didn't like his plan, just slaps her and goes to do his own thing.
Not that they would have reached an agreement for sure, but they didn't even TRY to understand each other.

And that is exactly what happened between him and Shizuka. Takopi just kept doing things on his own with his gadgets without trying to fully understand Shizuka or the sources of her suffering. And Shizuka, instead of opening up about her problems to the magical creature who wants to make her happy, just kept hiding her issues and giving vague answers like "I lost my writing board" and "I had a fight with my friend".
Had she bothered to fully explain all the causes of her life issues then maybe Takopi would have been able to better help her. Or at least have his help not go horribly wrong.

Then you have Azuma who just kept resenting his brother without properly talking to him about it. And it was only after Azuma expressed his feelings to him that he realized he has a wonderful brother and wouldn't have suffered so much at his mother's hand if he had properly talked to him earlier.

Honestly I feel it's pretty obvious what story it's trying to tell. Takopi is the kind of mascot character from children's show like Doraemon who brings happiness to kids with magical gadgets. But these kids are broken with complex problems and while Takopi can provide them temporary relief, his magic and naive positivity can't address the core issues. There are also clear themes of parents failing their children and passing down their problems to them.
