They did justice to Azik. People are gonna be ATTACHED. This episode is so freaking epic and emotional. The memoires are handled so well.

I was crying at the end of EP6. Knowing who really Azik is and what his circumstance really are, matched with the OST, the Visuals, and the Voice Acting; is just perfect. I was taken aback why I was so emotional and crying that I laugh at myself.

That's the canon scene in the novel where Dunn sees Vincent's dream of the true creator. Vincent is a worshipper of the true creator and the true creator punishes him for revealing it to the nighthawks because it shares a direct connection with Vincent and owns his life. Meanwhile a dream is several layers separated from reality, basically like a drawing, which is why Dunn only passed out.

That doesn't justify the anime version where Dunn somehow not only enters Vincent's mind when he's a corpse, but also that it can't be a dream of the true creator but an actual genuine remnant of it because corpses don't dream, and a remnant strong enough to project the full form of a god should have canonically destroyed him or sent him mad, like how Catlleya lost control just from looking directly at the true creator's corruption.
