She doesn't baby Ranma and want to be his slave like Ukyo. Also Cologne as an in-law is 10000x better than the useless Tendos. Look at how many times he was saved by her help.

Refuted by the Reversal Jewel (the opposite of her behavior towards Ranma was way too hostile for it to be the reverse of mere infatuation) and the New Year's Cat Curse arc (Ranma is who she loves most)
