nope, even he admits it in an interview where he was saying that he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue only to be sure after aizen "died" in the soul society.
But, even though he didn't forshadow everything, he still wrote the story as if he had. That's what all long running mangakas do. When you write a story for many decades you just can't think about everything decades in advance. There will be some stuff you do know in advance, but you also gotta wing it sometimes. And kubo knew how to make do given what he had.
Also kubo was an inspiration for a lot of new gen shounenshit. Now you can say new gen shounenshit is hot garbage (because it is), but having that much influence on the new gen does mean you're doing something right.
So yeah he's good, very far from perfect, but shounenshit doesn't demand perfection and that's all that matters. Compared to real writers he's decent at best (if you really want to analyze his writing), but for shounenshit he's pretty good.

This really isn't hard to understand when the text literally tells you how it works. Her shield has also never been broken like that before, with fragments flying about. It always fully cracks and dissipates; the fact that you can see a part of it peeking out shows you how wrong you are.

To be fair, Kubo had to rush HM arc. Originally he wanted Ichigo and co to explore the world a little, what with the Menos Forest stuff that was cut out but added in the anime. I wouldn't be shocked if he had intended for Orihime's captivity to last a week or so, to make the psychological cage stuff he was pushing regarding her brainwashing more believable. Hell arc could be related to Rukia (there were some schizo theories about her being a demon or something I don't remember). So her ending up with ichigo could set up the arc well with their son or daughter. You would need to change the one shot, but it was a one shot so no issue changing it.

That's just not true though. All adaptations are about the source material. Always. Anime don't make much money usually, compared to the investment that's put into it.
