Not really. Akiza's VA is a live-action actress but she wasn't that occupied which was why she still got ton of screen time during the show.
The problem was that 5'ds was originally going to be much shorter, ending after the Dark Signers arc but the show got extended which is why after that race ended the show enters that brief period where it's legitimately shit because the staff don't know what they're doing and introduce a lot of plot points that ended up being dropped. The also not being able to portray cults due to Carly's VA probably didn't help either, but essentially the staff just weren't able to come up with a proper continuation of Jack's and Akiza's character arcs.

Yeah, Frontier's last arc is one of the worst things in the entire franchise, even if overall it's not the worst show. Just a stunning display of narrative incompetence: the heroes have to keep losing all the time so the world can be consumed and the final boss appears. Gonna be honest, always thought Dynasmon and LordKnightmon were cool and I loved the final stretch of Frontier because of them. Anytime they appeared they simply had an aura and badassery level I didn't feel with the previous villains in Frontier. The Royal Knights arc was a disaster, but no, the damage had already been done by then. Frontier flopped right out of the gates. Like, it basically disappeared from the top 10 in Japan after the first six episodes.
