>>281109263>I think Sato will put him under his protection anyways and Tokio will be considered an outlaw.I feel it might be the other way around. Sato can't afford to lose Tokio especially since he now agrees to take the mark, Tokio geniunely has no reason to go against him while Azuma does because they've disagreed before/ Sato's version of Justice and Azuma's do not match (then there's also the whole Queem stuff which could lead him to Yubiko and Hume)
Then there is also
>Tokio's death (since dude geniunely has been collecting deathflags) which leads to zombification (Sato still keeps Palma around)>Sato potentially learning and taking advantage of Palma's Geass (especially if it is to mold Tokio however he wants)>Muh Reaper (Sato knows about this because Tokio told him about how mean Cabirol was...)Then there is also this line from Sato about Tokio. It mostly talks about Sandek (since muh "great power great chaos") but then scene immediately cuts to Azuma, the actual first guy Tokio imprinted on.
Let's be real, Sandek is screwed. Not only he got the worst damage in the shredder page (ironically Sora got the least), but the raid has been leading to Sato rising to power via process of elimination kek. So Tokio loses a mentor figure
Then there's Ely in limbo, and last time Tokio saw her she got kagune'd. For all he knows, she's dead.
This could lead to a tension between him and Azuma, which taking in Azuma's Queem plot and potential disagreements with Sato's ruling leading to Azuma leaving Yamato Mori (also slight parallel to Batista abandoning YM).
Tokio would have lost BOTH Azuma and Ely, his pillars. This isn't a case of Iwato, where Tokio left them out of his own accord to get strong enough to protect them (and finally feel like their equal) fully knowing they are still there safe and sound when he returns.
But now, one is "dead" (limbo), while the other cut him off. This could leave Tokio emotionally vulnerable, and Sato could take advantage of that
