>>281129992Isn't that so that women, especially middle aged ones, can squeal over flash androgynous women? Or does it have actual tomboys in it? I know there is sometimes an overlap between tomboys and princes but I maintain that in essence they are separate, a prince is often more refined and doesn't necessarily need traditionally masculine character traits and thought procces and conduct; whereas a tomboy needs that stuff but wrapped up in a still female package. The whole prince thing seems particularly Japanese, like straight(ish) women that want something vaguely manlike in their life but without actually going to the length/possible problems of associating with men. Something that could have been a problem in the reactionary past prehaps? Or maybe it's just another aspect of East Asia's preference for very effeminate, preened men; so in effect an androgynous woman is fine too.
