Seems like a newfag thing. I was watching a youtube video about male-centered romantic anime, while in the bathtub this afternoon, and when the topic came to 'My dress-up darling' the youtuber seemed to get somewhat flustered and went on a 5 minute tangent how it's weird and uncomfortable for him to have this much sexual innuendo about underage characters. He didn't lambast the anime about it (I haven't even seen it yet), but he said, that he disliked the show somewhat because of it. I personally find that view point pretty weird. As if there were any other time in life, where sex as a topic is as important as it is in your teens. This whole discussion always culminates on a legal point, totally missing the fact, that other cultures have vastly different rules about the age of consent. Lastly I personally think, that raunchy high school stories are most of the times just a form of nostalgia. Most viewers feel reminiscined about their own school life and want to experience it again in one way or another. So your mind more or less reverts back to that time and then you're of course going to like ecchi JK stuff just like back in the day.
