It would have hit harder if we knew even a little more about him, not ironically his screen time is no more than 3 minutes. I accept the positive message, but it's obvious that the author wanted to make a big "OMG, he's actually a great guy" plot twist to surprise the audience.

Compared to other trending series that had threads 24 hours per day during all its broadcast this one only generated discussion when a new episode came out. Probably because the manga is short and ended years ago, so there’s not much to talk about outside of schizoposting and repeating the same discussions over and over again
