I think most of the episodes have been well put together but I wish the overall plot moved a bit earlier.

My 3 years old daughter asked me, "Is Jamaock going to appear?" so I said, "Callist isn't going to appear, so it won't appear," but when Callist appeared at the character show, she got scared and started to cry.
When I asked her about it later, she said, "I like Callist on TV," so it seems she continues to be a fan of Callist.

I don't know if I'd say the plot has been slow. There's already been a new antagonist introduced and we've already had the reveal of the new big bad and two (2!) power ups!
I'd say that the only thing that feels dragged out is Minamo's character development. She's not been as relevant as you expect of a lead.

Yeah she really doesn't feel like the lead. Though to be honest none of the girls have big leader energy. I thought Kagari would slot into the more typical red slot but she's perfectly happy to just be chill and not call the shots. Memelord Nagase couldn't possibly be the leader.
If Nacchi becomes a Princess she'll have the most leader energy of them. Or maybe the Ikemen girl.

I never saw those guys as scary villains. They've felt kinda goofy from the start. On a related note, I wonder if we'll get an explanation of why Band Snatch is doing so poorly in defeating the Princesses or if we have to take the "Don't think about it too much, it's a kid's show" answer. The staff doesn't strike me as people who will opt for the latter.

Gita is clearly the newest member and kinda sucks. The other three are intentionally letting the Princesses win in order to build up their Musessence. Callist could wipe them out in an instant if he wanted.

Reminds me I saw some theory crafting on twitter about the band members. So they all have suits as blood types. In Alice-in-Wonderland all the suits denote your place in the court spades are gardeners, clubs are soldiers, diamonds are courtiers, and hearts are members of the royal family.

Drun - Soldier - Cliub
Gita - Royal Family - Heart

While some of that lines up with what we've been shown, like Calist singing about flowers and Drun beating the shit out of the princess, Gita doesn't really seem royal. I guess he is a brat...
