Summary: Nodoka and Rabi head out to explore, leaving Pegitan and Nyatoran to discuss their lack of partners. Meanwhile Shindoine lusts hard after King Byogen, who is busy ghosting her. At school Nodoka walks in on MoTW gossip and quickly pretends to never have even heard of such ridiculous things. Chiyu tries to figure out what Nodoka is up to. Later Latte escapes Pegi's watch and heads to the school; Pegi freaks out and runs to Rabi. Chiyu finds Latte and takes her to Nodoka and takes the chance to comfront Nodoka for always being around when MoTW are, but somehow missing them. Pegi shows up, only to find Nodoka already has Latte. Nodoka manages to wheasel out, and Chiyu invites her to her Ryokan. Chiyu invites Nodoka to use the animal hot spring while she changes. Latte doesn't like the water, but Rabi and Pegi take advantage and discuss Pegi's depression. Chiyu overhears the conversation, but when she knocks the two fairies dive into the hot water. Nodoka says she needs to head home to hurry Chiyu away from the fairies. As they leave Shindoine attacks and makes a MoTW out of the hotspring supply; probably making the water ultra sulfury. Latte alerts of a new MoTW and Nodoka heads towards the pump house; Chiyu on her way as well thinking its a normal problem. Chiyu gets there first and is quickly attacked, and Nodoka transforms without checking her surroundings; Chiyu of course sees. As the fight goes, Chiyu is in disbelief this Cure is Nodoka, until the MoTW attacks her and Grace moves to protect her. Chiyu is desperate to help now, notices Pegi and requests to help. After a little back and forth Chiyu offers her hand and Pegi's crotch glows with excitement. The two come together to be Cure Fontaine and make quick work of the monster. Shindoine's disbelief turns to respect before running. After Chiyu offers Pegi a new home so he's not crowding Nodoka; the cat flips being left out.

I don't know. Just in the last two episodes, the season has thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to episode summaries and what actually happened in the episode. For example, people did speculate that Zakkuri would be redeemed in the Nana episode, but I don't think anyone expected a new general to get involved, and the ending of the Kokoro episode caught a lot of people offguard.
One possibility that I've kept in the back of my mind but haven't really taken seriously is the possibility that the Cures go fully public with their identity long before the finale arc mostly because of how ass Uta is at keeping her secret. I still don't honestly think that will happen, but if Meroron's friend really is some civilian, then the chances aren't quite zero. Maybe it's something more mundane like the Cures revealing themselves to a one off character who keeps it a secret like what happened recently in HS though.

The funny thing is that they almost do that in the novel Rikka emphasizes that they do keep in contact, but MakoPi's busy being a full time idol (she decided high school was unnecessary), Alice is busy being a CEO but having some fun with it like her project of having a tea plant plantation in Madagascar, and Aguri's busy being the new student council president of her elementary school. Regina tried to run for the middle school president but failed and made a Jikochuu club instead where they apparently do whatever they want and has become leader of one of the biggest and influential clubs in the school. Rikka explains that she herself went to a prestigious high school as part of her path to become a doctor. It's reachable by train from her house, but it's a pretty lengthy train ride.
As for Mana, she got into the same school Rikka has been studying all year for with the power of extra hard studying crammed in a few months (though I suspect Alice or one of Mana's various other fans may have had a hand in it somehow or perhaps the school even rigged it in Mana's favor behind her back to take advantage of her influence). Either way the novel ends with Mana and Rikka happily spending their high school days together.
