When he can go all out he can outrank most of them, but 90% of the time he cannot do that. This is the reason why he didn’t restrained himself against Muzan , since he knew by that point it was all or nothing (and he was not going to survive anyway).
Muichiro was a glass cannon prodigy, he style in execution is the water equivalent of the Thunder breathing. Which means he can speedblitz an opponent to win.
For this reason i ranked him slightly above Rengoku since the latter was more balanced into a perfect mix of STR, DEX and COS.
Muichiro instead is a full max STR and DEX, but his resistance is null , making it that he is tecnically stronger than uzui and Regoku, but would die easily compared to them (in fact i don’t see him surviving against Akaza or tanking his blows like Rengoku if their places where swamped during Mugen Train arc)
This is kinda the thing i like about the pillars tho.
While there is a ranking , each of them is a specialist in specific roles. This means that their personal competences give them good chances to fare better in different matchups , like Tomioka’s defensive/parry style being perfect to stand to Akaza even if he doesn’t have the same explosive strength of Mui and Rengoku.
Or also Tengen being the best counter for Gyutarou because his poison Res and versatility
