VMMORPG is quite an specific one as it was made as 18+ one where stuff like sex, gambling, drugs are part of this game.

Story has multiple main characters that are not in one party and only occasionally meet each other. And story just jumps between perspectives of each character.

Sukeban girl comes to MC's school to pick some fights. Spotting MC, she goes to take a swing. MC however spots a 500 yen coin on the ground, and bends over to pick it up, tripping her. She gets up and tries to take another swing, but MC accidently elbows her as he turns around to show his friend the coin he found. He turns around and sees the girl on the ground and tries to help her up but ends up headbutting her mistake, after which he princess carries her to the infirmary, unaware that he caused her pain. She runs away, vowing revenge.

For the next few weeks, the sukeban girl would show up at the gates of MC's school, challenging him to a fight. Despite the MC's judo background, he refuses to fight her, and tries resorting to romcom styles of avoiding the fight, such as preparing to fight, only to bolt and runaway, leaving a scarecrow by the shoe locker while he sneaks out via a different exit, or trying to get her to obsess over someone else by seeing if he can find someone to date her.

He eventually realizes that because she's skipping classes every day to get to reach his school by end of class, he can transfer to her school and hide in the lion's den. This idea seems to work and he's able to make some new friends, but it soon becomes apparent that his new friends are in the same gang as the sukeban girl. Thankfully, she hasn't been around due to her obsession with the MC and hasn't told the gang the MC's name, so they aren't able to piece it together, but eventually, they insist that the MC and Sukeban girl should meet.

In a desperate attempt the night before, the MC dyes his hair blonde and gets a new hair style, hoping that the sukeban girl doesn't recognize him. The next day, the gang grills him on his new appearance, but he convinces them that he just wants to impress the sukeban girl. The two meet, and the MC breathes a sigh of relief as his disguise works, but the gang is able to convince the sukeban girl to accept his help in finding her rival, as he used to go to the same school as him. Unable to dig himself out of the hole, he agrees, now stuck in this predicament where he has to help the sukeban find her rival, which is him.

After a few weeks, the MC comes up with a plan. He calls his old judo mate, and asks if he can impersonate him and put up a satisfying fight before losing. His mate, agrees to the idea of losing a fight to a tough girl, and they arrange the meeting the next day. The sukeban girl is fooled, and they begin their fight. The mate continues with the plan, but starts getting attracted to the sukeban girl and tries to grope her midfight, which causes the sukeban girl to kick his nuts. This causes the MC's mate to lose his temper and knock her out, ruining the MC's plan.

The MC's mate tries to grope the sukeban girl's unconscious body, and the MC intervenes, despite all the pain the sukeban girl has caused for him. The MC and his mate get into a fight, during which the sukeban girl wakes up and witnesses. It's a long fight, but the MC is able to best his mate. He notices the sukeban girl is awake and asks if she's ok. He's relieved to hear that she is done chasing after the MC's real identity, that she's satisfied with fighting against him but his face twists to horror as she gleams into the MC's eyes, now setting eyes on him as her rival after seeing the way he fought. The MC's head hangs in disappoint and lets out a sigh as another misunderstanding is created, and the sukeban girl still wants to fight him, just now under a different name

A series adapting the game Timberborn could be neat:

When the sukeban girl takes that as a daring challenge, the MC decides to fake his violent tendencies, making erratic punches and kicks around the bedroom, while making his way to the door before booking it out of her house.

The MC exists in a world where magic duels are the peak of culture and he writes an anonymous opinion column discussing the odds of each fight. But he's not beloved by the divine, nor does he have the mana to compel angels to obey him or even hear his calls. So he has to travel to the lowest point in the city and perform a ritual to attract the angels, opening the gates of hell a smidge, then permanently sacrifice a part of his spirit to make chains to enslave one of the divine beings to his will.

The story and MC would start out as more mundane, but as things pick up he'd grow a little crazier as he enjoyed finally pursuing his path in earnest and finding more insane uses for angels, reflecting the King Summoner's own strategies with more pragmatic tactics like instead of cherubs running disruption he'd have them explode in his opponent's face.

Because it has hurt the tourism business and the morale of the Japanese citizens, even those that have returned to their respective nations morale went low, new precautions are taking place with the help of the UN and have concluded the new hysteria which psychologists call Isekaiphobia the fearing of getting spirited away to another world or getting isekaied. Other signs include separation anxiety, fear of bathtubs and fear of trucks now dubbed truckophobia. It is both a comedy and psychological thriller focusing on a different characters exploring the effects of getting sent to a fantasy world, giving it an anthology like narrative. The occurring characters include doctors and scientists similar to Ritsuko and Misato from Evangelion, a doctor similar to Bill Pullman's character from Casper and a character similar to Ben Stein. Finally, the new Daimyo is chosen, and MC is given the title of protector of the Princess and learns of a sword-maker who can synthesize magic katanas.

He brings the two katanas to the sword maker. He combines them and produces a katana that only brings misfortune to the user once his objectives have been achieved. After his house burns down, his mistress dies, and the Princess is struck by a mysterious illness, he seppuku's out of grief with the sword while on a caravan to deliver gold to a nearby principality, repeating the story again.

A Powerpuff Girls Z spinoff which has Ken becoming an exchange student in the US and he stays at the house anime versions of Dexter's family, and due to a mishap Dee Dee and her friends Lee Lee and Mee Mee get hit by the same white Z rays which turned Momoko, Miyako and Karou into the Powerpuff Girls Z, making Dee Dee, Lee Lee and Mee Mee American versions of the Powerpuff Girls Z now dubbed the G.I.R.L. The story would be about tamers who end up working together to protect a princess from her uncle, who is trying to kill her to become the ascendant royal lineage.

The current sloppy definition of "isekai" imply not just multiverse travelling but also an undesired/surprise trip (optionally one-way) trip and rarely for a large cast.
Alien invasion from another universe mean a declaration of war from a species capable of moving between universe willingly.
Even taking a more literal interpretation of isekai to apply to "fundamentally different world", making it voluntary remove it from the isekai category.

I think you are taking the "battle royal" term in the tl;dr a little too literally, I wasn't thinking of a big event that happens all at once, there are no organized fights, I'm just saying that because effectively it's MGs fighting each other most of the time and they don't usually have personal reasons for it(keyword: usually), you don't get monsters or demons running around.
On the other hand, pretty obvious that it's no accident, so it has the whole "the source of magic powers isn't friendly" aspect in a blatant way it's hardly a question that most girls shouldn't be turned into MGs carelessly as they cannot control it, the real issue is figuring out who is doing that, how to stop them, and why there is this seemingly arbitrary selection of girls who didn't turn into battle autists, and also why does that happen at all anyway.

Not meant to be consequence-free, that would be boring, hence the "more character drama" part. That, and the fact on-screen conflicts tend to turn more personal than usual after a while, because of course that would happen.

She starts providing him such things.
Until he unexpectedly asks what she expects of these gifts. She say "nothing", already guessing that his is a prideful and honourable Dragon who don't intend to be treated like a pet.

The story would continue as their exchange become mutually profitable. She gets Dragon-kun to help with affairs, bringing him to negotiation for his imposing presence... getting actual win-win negotiation instead cause "he knows stuff" and have other magical friends. His lair start looking like a castle on its own.

And then there's disruption, like the Dragon's ex-girlfriend who think she'll get his attention back if she dominates all the pesky human around, or the kingdom of the dumb-prince invading hers, Dragon-kun wanting to remain neutral since they also offered him deals.

And so on...
Story would conclude with Dragon-kun revealing he is capable of transforming into a human but it's almost suicidal as he's extremely weak in such form.

Fair enough, if that's not your thing not much I can say about it. Since it's inspired from something that does "battle royal" more literally, the idea can't really get too separated from it. Making the girls fight each other in a way or another, and especially in somewhat forceful ways is a central plot point.

Yea, that's the endgame. It's an unknown enemy operating in mysterious ways at first, the MCs slowly but surely figure everything out and they can finally have a final confrontation. How to get there exactly and how much should be revealed upfront, and especially how to do that without immediately exposing the "culprit" can be interesting to think about.

I thought it was clear enough that I DO want actual consequences, although the extent of it is very variable.
Some characters have more to lose than others, depending on how much time they spent as a MG or if anything relevant happened, while for others it's basically forgetting one weird day or two. This isn't going to get handwaved as inconsequential in general, especially by the MC herself who would like to solve that going straight to the source.

A young guy streaming urbex finds an underground tunnel system. He steps into a creepy ritual chamber and reads out loud what one of his very few viewers wrote in the chat. Unknown to him, the incantation he read broke the seal of the spirit imprisoned in the chamber. The spirit appears to him and asks to sign a contract. He will grant him a special power in exchange of taking him to the realm of "God". The young man initially refuses. However, being possessed by the spirit has caused his magic center to open. Since he cannot control it, the magic energy he leaks makes his girlfriend sick. So he accepts the spirit's bargain to learn how to control his magic center.
The spirit's real identity is Satan who rebelled against the demiurge out of righteousness. Satan wants to go back from to the realm of God to regain his powers and challenge the demiurge. MC wants to keep the power Satan grants him (teleportation) to make a living out of it and also be with his gf again.

In this world, angels can grant magical powers. The power to grant magic is granted by the demiurge for normal angels. When an Angel reaches transcendence, the power becomes part of himself and is not subject to the demiurge's control anymore.

The story starts as a series of short adventures in which the MC gradually learns about occult aspects of his world while collecting a bunch of spells the spirit needs to open a gate to the realm of God.

Land developers getting ready to put up another soulless corporate building uncover a huge rock slab covered in runes while digging. The foreman orders them to blow it up because he doesn't want archaeologists fucking up his schedule. The slab is a plug laid over the Wellspring through which magic flows into the world by Merlin to starve Morgan la Fey of power. The explosion releases so much magic at once that lots of people get changed into fantasy creatures based on their personalities. Some people figure out how to cast spells by speaking in a language they're not casually fluent in (because the concentration needed is a factor). While the world is readjusting, Morgan's resurrection constructs start working, beginning the process of bringing her back to life to conquer the world.
