Character writing? Abysmal. You don't love Kyora or Hakuri or Samura character writing. You love the concept of it. The execution (thing that matters) is average to bad.
Characters arcs? Primitive (Samura, Hakuri) or inexistent.
Plotting is abysmal in the second half of the series, I legit feel like I'm reading the schizo diaries. Characters are competing in incompetency, characters are getting advantages out of nowhere, outrageous miscommunication is all around to keep the plot afloat. Terrible writing.
Worldbuilding? One of the most incoherent and poorly realized settings I've ever read about. And I've read a lot of fiction. Kagurabachi world is a farce.
In terms of creativity it was pretty good early on but then tactics were replaced by teleport behind and punch harder/faster, sorcery became the same barely visible melee or mid range fart.
Borrowing from other works, borrowing from his own one-shots are borderline plagiate and copy paste.
Kagurabachi is an absolutely 4-6/10 (depends on your level of quality demand) series right now. You either have to first time read anything fictional or be not a very bright person to rate it higher.
