As more and more people join their fanclub, the office of the Precure finds themselves busy with sending out membership cards. In the midst of that, Uta proposes that they begin uploading videos of the Idol Precure & ZukyoonKiss to CureTube, hoping that that those who watch will become kirakkiranran. They get to work at once, continually recording and uploading their videos. However, while at school on their summer break school day, a classmate calls out to her, asking if she's acquainted with the Idol Precure. It turns out that Uta has been caught on camera in one of the videos they had uploaded. 28: Woof Woof! With Kyuu-chan!

Uta, along with her family and pet dog Kyuutarou, as well as Nana, Kokoro, Purirun, Meroron, plus Tanaka, pay a visit to her grandfather Heiji's house. Kyuu-chan had actually used to live in here, having only been taken to Uta's house after her grandmother Atsuko passed. While everyone is being treated to watermelon in the living room, Heijji informs Uta that he was thinking of tidying up Atsuko's room while he was still healthy. Slightly shaken after hearing him say that, Uta leaves the living room. She reminisces upon her beloved grandmother looking around Atsuko's room. When Kyuu-chan sees how forlorn Uta looks, he returns to the living room and barks in front of a photograph as if he wants to tell her something.
