Rush is whole different can of worms, anime got fucked hard by arc v production issues that spilled onto vrains, then finally bankrupted studio.

Konami got their own animation studio as now but they want focus on OGC stories rather than Kaz works.

But YGO success is more due card game, so weight falls more on TVtokyo and Konami. Also, KAZ artwork never pop on games without permission and MD is missing a fair amount of cards thanks to this for example.

He never got involved that much past GX either way. 5ds,zexal and Vrains was just character designer, ARC V didn't had anything done by him since everyone was too busy producing movie.

He was more than character designer for 5D's, he provided them with the show's entire concept and wrote the Bonds Beyond Time movie of which he sacrificed the GX movie for. Zexal he did the designs of which he conaider d Astral and Yuma his best design to date, but Also provided them with a concept for the show (the whole alie space adventure thing) which kinda got rejected/ altered but later fully reused for Go Rush.

Yes, the anime did good, but anime are to promote a product, and AFAIK Rush Duels didn't hit that hard, hence no reason to promote them more.

On the one hand her having like four appearances plus the "everyone shows up at the end" saved her a lot from being a complete loser, but on the other hand she is the best and I fucking hate Kotori. Frankly I can't tell which would've been better.

Zexal was garbage. IV and Vector were the only characters who were fun.

Synchro arc of Arc-V was literally better than anything that came after from this franchise. It was better than most of 5D's where lolyuseiwins too.
