A trend I noticed is that Kubo likes to depict supporting characters in his tributes. He also made Ghiaccio in the JoJo tribute, who is a curious choice since he was a minor villain only featured in a single fight.
That being said, I appreciate mangaka who draw unexpected charas in tribute pictures, the main character is an iconic, if predictable choice, but I like when minor characters are given some love.
