Honestly the worst part to me is if you've been following his stuff since Suzuka. The whole climactic drama of the manga is teen pregnancy that results in her being born and then you see her growing occasionally through the rest of his series. Then she gets her own series and gets fucking killed, it felt like watching your own daughter die.

This is a time loop manga where the Cafe is stuck in a cycle. Hayato's grandmother was the winner of her harem which meant she left the harem for the next cycle, which is now. The cycle demands a harem ending that has yet to come so each winner can't be in the next. But the Black Saints are an unforseen circumstance which has many past winners return to the harem. The cycle has gone on long enough that it thinks it accumulated enough past winners for the tables to turn and a harem is inevitable. Hayato will correct the mistakes of his ancestors and accept everyone. This is how his grandmother returns to be his daughter too, because the cycle finally achieves it's harem and doesn't stop removing singular winning girls that want a harem ending.
My prediction is the Cafe will get burned and Hayato will go into the building to save his grandmothers stuff or something only for Hayoto to be saved by everyone this time instead of being maimed like his grandfather was. Fuwa will get caught and everyone will have to move on with their lives instead of who ever wins who will go with Hayato. The only curve balls in this is I’m not sure if this drama will be the chance to have the equivalent of the Truck scene in Fuuka.

Some of it is personal bias because I feel like ive been seeing a lot of series where girls have more childish traits but Yeah I do think she is honestly all the girls are but in a good way. Akane is still scared of her mom, She cant handle ghosts, She needs someone to go with her to the bathroom at night, She easily gets embarrassed and loses her cool beauty persona. I prefer this kind of writing to what older folks like me had gotten acquianted with. This is nothing compared to Suzuka or KNIM.
