I think you meant pre part 4. Only good design is when Joseph puts on the Bandana. Everything else looks like shit and very samey. Part 5 had good designs but boring characters. Part 6 had some good stand designs but all the characters looked gay as shit. Part 7 and 8 he's finally nailed down designs and poses we're entering an era of peak with the next anime.

/a/ cannot actually discuss art. Notice how few of the responses ITT directly bring up the work of said chara designers and discusses them, in technical detail, without resorting to simple value assessments like good or bad.
If you had instead begun the thread with "Who is the best character designer and why"?, the thread still would not have been decent. Anons would bring up their favorite tittymonster or loli designs which has launched countless faps, and on this flimsy basis decide this is an adequate response.

You're conveniently choosing covers where characters do those fashion model neutral expressions. Maybe read the manga for a change, you'd actually know about the subject. Any JoJo reader would tell you how fucking overblown the sameface claim is, and that ALL characters faces have noticeable differences in shape and features.
