Has it been confirmed how long or how many episodes this series will be? Given how tightly written it is it feels like 12 episodes with ~30 minutes of content, without title cards. But we're at episode 6, haven't gotten to day 2 (of 3), and still have the background of 1/3rd of the cast left so it also feels like it could go longer.

Though the prisons are full and, given how ubiquitous robots are and how disposable cyborgs seem to be to society at large, dropping a drone with no collateral damage is probably the equivalent of breaking an axel of a police cruiser. Plus the final lie detector scene made me laugh for different reasons - they sound comparatively chipper when they say "kikoemaaaaasu" before kurt tells them to skedaddle, and in EN the blunt "dammit, let's get out of here" makes me think of a gruff old guy. I never watch dub, but I watched both the original dub and my language's dub (fr*nch) to compare and it was so laughably bad I'll keep watching the episodes twice because of how it's entertainingly bad.
The actors don't know basic nip pronunciation rules, pronounced akane as "あかん", generally pronounces all u-vowels like the IPA "u" instead of "y".
Then the tone and voice ranges are so different, especially makina, who sounds much more mechanical and emotionless, this completely changes how you interpret scenes that involve her.
Also the script sounds so unnatural, like it was AI translated from the english script, not even from the japanese script.

Dubs have gotten a lot better over the years. The biggest problem they have now is that actors/directors in LA treat it like camera work. Those with theater or radio backgrounds do a lot better in animation. I want to know how these small indie cartoons get acting that's as good as professional dubs in multiple languages.

I do think that bad translations are part of the problem but directing contributes to bad dubs. SBN3 (Class of 09) kind of spells it out all the dub problems in his videos on how to get into voice acting.
