finished it recently, it was alright. pretty weird the transition to digital in part 2 is a bit jarring, but i feel that way with most shows.

I was 10 when The Big O aired and my brother and I watched it, I don't think we saw every episode. I remember liking it but also thinking at the time that it was weird. The Big O was my first mecha, but it wasn't until Toonami aired G Gundam (and we bought Armored Core 2 at around the same time) that I became a mechafag. It helped that I learned how to program the VCR to record shows by the time G Gundam aired, so I actually got to watch the whole show.
