After Super ended there was shit to talk about. Super was interesting and ended with a lot of loose plot threads (the evil angels and the restored universes). It was generally 100x as interesting as Daima. There was confirmed upcoming shit like the broly movie and manga chapters too.
With Daipa and this era, there is nothing except videotoy DLCs (of Daipa content no one cares about) every few months. If Daipa was good there would be discussion about it. As of right now no one cares. This is more entertaining than discussing Daipa.

I don't get it. More than two thirds of these depict Vegeta sharing moves with other forms of himself or his fusions, it makes sense for them to share moves. I can even let the Raditz one slide since they presumably had the same style. And given how much they trained together, it makes sense for Vegeta and Goku to know many of the same moves. That really only leaves Jiren and 17 as the weird ones but like one eighths of the examples here, it's not that weird.

If you are disappointed that the game don't give a completely original moveset to every single characters, have you heard of compression? It probably saves some data to have multiple character pull the same animation. It's why Mortal Kombat have a million characters who look the same, it's not always pretty but some compromises need to be made sometimes.

That's all. The hunt for the dragonballs in space was fucking garbage. Goku could have used IT to grab them all easily, Trunks could've flown across the planets to grab them in seconds, etc but instead they pull some "Oh cause Goku's a kid his powers crap out randomly" meme and they go through "hilarious!" hijinks to get the dragonballs back. Only it worked in the OG DB because of the sense of adventure, where as in GT it was because of a fucking asspull plot.

Baby Saga was good in concept. But the execution was painfully mediocre, the fight between Baby and Goku was boring, the animation at the end of it was atrocious, and it destroyed Uub as a potential character by making him completely useless. Also Majin Buu is gone forever and so is Piccolo lol.

Super 17 saga is garbage and everyone knows this. No reason to explain why.

Half of the Shadow Dragons looked like shit. And some of the interesting ones were killed off in favor of Syn/Omega Shenron, aka the most boring fucking villain of all time.

Don't even get me started on how GT stands for fucking Goku Time. At least in Super side characters have their moments, Daima too. The only other character besides Goku who got screentime was Pan who got more screentime than Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo together and that's only because Toei couldn't contain themselves and their pedo lust for Pan (not even joking the lead designer for GT Nakatsuru called her "sexy"). I just don't understand how people can say GT isn't anything but complete garbage, no less better than Super. Super may be mediocre but cmon now.

GT: shit starting cast without a good chemestry. Present Trunks isn't an interesting character and adds nothing but being the pilot of the ship and Pan is just a damsel in distress during all GT despise being meant to be strong. Also the shit fights that were just ki blasts spam, those two factors doomed the series.
Super: Goku became a waku waku retard like his OG self, yes, Goku is an idiot, but in Super that was exagerated a lot ignoring the progression he got previously in the series, that plus adding a lot of shit characters that aren't interesting. Beerus in BoG alone is fine, despite the retcons to justify his existence it kinda works there and stuff like god ki are interesting concepts, but everything after the movie shits on those concepts. Beerus doesn't do anything interesting after that and god ki became useless since we have seen it getting beating by regular ki users and god ki itself doesn't difference enough fron regular ki. The angels are the only characters with some sort of interesting aspects but outside them, every single new character in Super is boring, especially the antagonists, Hit, Black (after the reveal it is Zamasu), Jiren, Moro, the Heaters and Granolah and Cell Max with the nu-RR all suck compared to the Z characters, them all lack the charisma from the classic antagonists and that turns them into the Goku and friends punch back of turn. The only saving grace of Super is the fights being better than GT and Daima so far, but the characters and concepts introduced on it suck.

Ok so there are consequences to the Dragon Balls now. There are a few problems here. First, this is GT's last arc, so this won't even matter for long. Second, aren't most of the Shadow Dragons fodder? Not really much of a consequence. Finally, isn't it just bad to make the series' flagship bad to use out of nowhere? Daima's Demon Realm was less of a demonic place and more like some weird progenitor universe all the other universes came from. The advertisement was pretty shit, especially when you consider Toriyama's previous demons like Dabura or all the demons from Dragon Quest. GT's ending is absolutely miserable. Borderline misery porn. It's the most unfitting shit you can write about DB.

Literally no one thinks GT is better than Super. It's way fucking worse than anyone remembers. Pan single handily ruins the entire show by being the main focus of the early parts and then dragging down everything that's even remotely decent with her annoying presence later on. Even the villains which I remember being the only redeeming factor of the show are more underwhelming than I remember. They look cool for the most part but the actual fights are mediocre and uninspired. Ledgic fight lasts 2 minutes, Rildo goes threw 2 transformations and still doesn't have a memorable moment in the actual fight against Goku, the fight with Baby Vegeta doesn't introduce any unique abilities and is mostly just a punch & Kamehamehafest with Goku even after he turns into a great ape, Super 17 is just retarded, ect... It's like they had cool ideas but executed them poorly. It doesn't have Toriyama who is a master of both comedy and action sequences but since everything was made by retards over at Toei instead, they weren't able to properly replicate those elements that made the original stories great. As average as Super can be at times, GT is just flat out horrible in so many ways. I mean for fucksake look what they did to Gohan, Goten, Krillin, and even Piccolo and compare that to how well they're treated in Super. Even Uub who is Goku's successor was treated like shit and accomplished nothing in the series. He jobbed to Baby even after a big power up and then lost the Tenkaichi Tournement to Mr. Satan. Android 17 was relegated to being some mid-series secondary villain who combines with another Android 17 who then quickly jobs to Goku after not having relevance since the Android saga in Z, while Android 17 in Super has grown as a character with a fleshed out personality and a family...and then ended up WINNING the tournament of power of all things. He won the biggest event of the most memorable part of the Super anime.

Pan is basically the equivalent of Bulma but without any of the redeeming qualities. One thing Toriyama was able to do was create a sexy character while also making her pretty funny in various ways. Her being obsessed with getting a boyfriend and how she reacts to the other characters and the crazy shit they do leads to many humorous situations while also being weak and having the handicap of dealing with all the shit the other characters have to deal with without having their power. Pan is just a flat chested spoiled child who constantly throws temper tantrums which would be okay if the writing was funny which it's not while also being on screen the most. I swear she's on the TV more than fucking Goku which is insane. Constantly yapping away with her shitty voice always bitching about something or being overly eager and helpful. It's just a god awful personality. Then you have Trunks is just a 3rd wheel. He's suppose to be the responsible one I guess but he has almost no personality while lacking all the coolness his future self had. Another glaring issue with the show and it's cast is we ONLY see what these characters are doing 24/7. I'm 20 episodes in and they have not shown us what is going on with the characters on Earth. We have yet to see Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha or what any of them are doing while the trio travels around space. I'm sure the show will pick up eventually but it shouldn't take over 20 fucking episodes for any show to start being even remotely decent

The show just stinks. It looks worse than Z, has none of the good things that made the other shows watchable. The only aspect I can compliment the show on is the music which is actually pretty great compared to the previous series where the music was just okay at best. Seriously though, anyone who says GT is better than Super is trolling because so far this shit is not only way worse than I remember, but also just one of the worst battle shounens I've seen.
