If you are a goyslop director hired by the studio to make generic action/capeshit movie that has to be on time with everything I can see this being annoying.

If you are by some luck a director that has a lot of creative control over making a movie, be it as some sort of independent production or given freedom by the studio/publisher then I can see actors disagreeing or even disliking/hating eachother on set being a potentially interesting tool for more emotions/creativity.

Too bad that big studios these days are all just excel spreadsheet simulators focused on making as much money for their jewish overlords as possible while trying to save costs on everything, and yet the movies still end up costing 200m+ and being garbage. Imagine a scenario where a studio approves a relatively high budget for a whole trilogy at once, gives it in the hands of a creative directors, gives him a lot of freedom and just gambles on it being successful, like it was the case with the original LOTR trilogy. That could NEVER happen today.

Wait, wasn't this cancelled because the author got caught molesting middle schoolers on his bike? Are they doing a revival?

>Imagine a scenario where a studio approves a relatively high budget for a whole trilogy at once
I mean, isnt this what happens with Marvelshit? I dont watch it but through cultural osmosis I tend to annually hear about how 6 movies or whatever have been planned for Phase whogivesashit and even though I've heard nothing but complaints about those movies for the last 6 or so years they still keep pouring billions into them
>gives it in the hands of a creative directors, gives him a lot of freedom
I guess this is the issue then, because those movies are about as cookie cutter as you can get top to bottom.

Theaters re-ran the LoTR Trilogy a year or 2 ago and god damn watching those for the first time in 15 or so years was so good for the soul it was unreal. Those movies really are special.

This is as retarded as excessive meddling. We have seen time and time again where creators of beloved franchises going independent and shitting the bed when there is no supervision on them. You need both a good creative and a good editor/executive, the creation will suffer if one of them is lacking.

Stay the fuck away from me pleb.

Jokes aside, sure, guys like George Lucas, Ridley Scott and Synder really need a tardwrangler, good directors in terms of visuals, but let them stay the fuck away from story. In regards to the scene in manga I meant it more as a creative control in terms of scene.

On the other hand I feel like the studio mandated movies of today really are completely creatively bankrupt. It's not even funny. I dunno why they even have directors for those slop movies, seems all they do is just go through a checklist. Exactly the same checklist every time.

>>281291530
>I mean, isnt this what happens with Marvelshit?
Not really. They have a different director/writer/screenwriter/everyone except the same pajeet CGI studio to whom they outsource VFX every time. Disney especially fucked it up badly with the sequel trilogy. They fucked it up so spectacularly it's something that should be taught in management school.
