A secret of the series that most of /a/ won't get that because they're not Japanese is that the "winner" girls are more attractive than their respective "loser". For example, many in /a/ think that Lemon is hotter than Asagumo, but by Japanese beauty standards Asagumo is obviously more attractive. As per regular harem genre law, the main girl (Anna) is NOT the most attractive, that would be her "winner", Karen who represents the pinnacle beauty (tall half-white). The other thing much of /a/ doesn't comprehend is that the harem is both the losers AND the winners, although the winners' role is mainly to be foils for their loser / hit on Nuku. The interest part ISN’T the main harem of losers, but the antagonist harem of winners. While a lot of time is spent supporting the losers in their emotional journey, it’s the winners who are being proactive and aggressive about getting with Nuku. Tsukinoki has the best game, Karen is the final arc boss so she’s just flirting low-key at this point. Asagumo is less of a natural than Tsukinoki but she’s bold. Anyway, the only girl Nuku will get with in the end is Anna as she is the main girl so it honestly doesn’t matter what any of the others do or don’t do. Lemon has exactly as much of a chance as Kaju, the zombie or any other girl, ie, none at all. The winners are just flirting and trying to get Nuku simply so that he can shoot them down.
