I'll never get why this series is praised so highly, it has all the problems the other shows get criticized for but in one package.

>Barian arc feels like a DM filler, DOMA in particular (the key to the arc's mysteries lies in ancient societies that haven't been relevant until now, with members of the main cast having secret ties to them all along, and villains that were given calculated constructed tragic backstories by the arc villain to turn them into his puppets)
>The pacing issues of GX and VRAINS
>The tonal whiplash of 5Ds
>The cast just letting Dr. Faker go after everything he did in the first season like Leo Akaba in Arc-V
>The lighter goofy moments of the Rush era

It also has it's own problems like Yuma dueling Shark to convince him to be a good guy like 3 different times under different circumstances, Kaito barely being a character after season 1, and.the ending wrapping up the war, drama, and clashing viewpoints of Yuma, Astral, and the barians by magically wishing the barians back to life as humans using the plot device card.

Yuma feels like someone got told about Jounouchi, without having ever watched DM, and tried to make him the MC.

But unlike DOMA it wasn’t historic kino in the slightest sense

I really hated the duels in this series. Do people actually enjoy Yugioh duels that play out that way?

I thought early ARC-V was amazing, it peaked with the Flower Cardian guy. It really fell apart when they really dove deep into the big multiverse war-thing. It really stopped being fun.

and became trending topic in twitter just below Gundam and Uma

No one is watching GX HD.

He was possessed by Vector. You should complain about the cast letting a mass murderer like Vector hang out with them in the final episode.

Faker's one duel was bad and boring to sit through but he isn't necessarily logic breaking since he was possessed and had a simple motivation. The best they did with him is make sure he didn't take up too many episodes compared to Kaito or Tron Family. Almost like they knew about this which is why Kaito had a better duel than the Faker one to finish the season.
I also don't see why Shark having to be convinced more than once and inherently being a character who wavers is a flaw when you said yourself the circumstances changed and the characters learned new things. He can be accused of being rushed or having awkwardly done arcs for his character, but the fact he wavers in of itself is how a lot of other anime characters have been. The numeron code can also be called pretty boring as an idea from its foundation but the show warned everyone far in advance about True Omnipotent God powers

A shame Master Duel isn't more like Duel Links. I love larping as anime characters. Skills are cancer tho.

Name 3 arcs better than DOMA. Of course you can’t do it and that’s completely fine

I've gotten a 5 game win streak in Ranked by playing Soulburner's alt skin and spamming the line where he screams and begs for mercy. Opponents tend to surrender shortly afterwords.

Leo does logic break the show he's in but the biggest offensive problems of Arc-V (as in causing the most negative emotional reactions from viewers) even then were barely about Leo, because he ultimately didn't consume much screentime overall. The logical foundation of the show gets cut to pieces by Leo but in actual moment-to-moment entertainment he's barely a footnote in Arc-V's list of problems.
Yuri was a better and more entertaining villain to watch when he was on screen compared to how poor a lot of Arc-V antagonists were overall, even if he barely had any motive or backstory behind him and it didn't make any sense why he would have his position

Circling a story around a large scale war and the concept of action duels that tortured the background artists in workload was going to tank the production at some point. If someone takes a moment to consider which mangaka pulled off a large scale war story of some kind, how many were there really? How many jap novel authors pulled it off with a fictional war between kingdoms? And those few authors would be the rare ones who are more clever and well read than the average. Intelligent Systems has spent literal decades making Fire Emblem games all about kingdoms fighting wars, and maybe 3 of them total got decent step by step plot writing...

The DOMA accusation doesn't hold water to me since it's so standard shounen for the bad guys to enter the more aggressive phase 2 once their first long term plan (Faker bombs) was stopped. Barian World was already known about in part 1 and their actual brute force plan to duel and kill was ultimately pretty simple, so was Vector making a deal with the devil for powered up cards to escalate everything. There wasn't anything conspiratorial or secret illuminati society outside of Vector hiding things for himself, but he was alone
