Here's a bit of a lore dump:
Creation God described in ODT was a humanoid.
This explains why every race is a humanoid they were created by him.
However the worlds they live in simply had different paths of evolution because their environments differ way too much, like sea world humanoids with 0 land became half fish humanoids.
Demon World being a miasma hellhole mutated its population which is why the races from the demon world are so different, some have telepathy like Migurds, some don't even have a human form like VITA this is mostly because that world was the most unstable one imo.
As for dragonoids (not orsted and perugius one is half-human and other is reincarnated into a human) are described as scaly humanoids with wings that can fly. Their whole body is a touki organ and reacts differently to where you pour in touki. If they pour touki inside their wings for example they produce an anti gravity field which makes them float then they use the wings to glide thus achieving flight.
Their world the dragon world is described as an upside world down world with mountains in the sky and having no surface at all(you just fall into some kind of abyss with a snek) which means living organisms that can't fly there won't survive that world hence why they developed wings.
The red dragons you see in MT main story also came from the dragon world except they can't into anti gravity and which explains they need to jump off from cliffs to be able to fly and can’t take off alone which is why they mainly live in the mountains in the current MT world and very rarely venture below because if they land they will never take off again.
But it’s not their flaw necessarily since Red Dragons are not native species in human world and jumping off cliffs is not really a problem in their upside down Dragon World as it has no surface at all which again affirms the evolution theory.
