I've posted this before in most of animal kingdom mammal males find flat/small breasts more attractive, as this signals the female is fertile (able to become pregnant). Once they become pregnant, breasts grow larger, which signals that they cannot become pregnant again.
But in humans the women have evolved hidden ovulation strategy to keep the males around to
1. keep the guy around to make sure the kid is his
2. protect and provide for his woman and kid once he is sure enough it is his
but this sort of straregy wouldn't work quite as well if breasts grew in similar manner as in other mammals (there is breast growth ofc but the difference is not as noticeable). so human females have by default much larger breasts out of pregnancy to hide the fact whether they are or are not pregnant in that moment. so some million years ago it might've been the standard that flat was justice for 99% of population but that 1% of freaks who liked big cow udders succeeded better on average due to sticking around and providing for kids. so now the big tiddy enjoyers are the majority while flat/small chest enjoyers are something that clicks more from the ancient monkey brain.
