The one actually interesting thing about Saika is that he is completely oblivious to the fact that everyone thinks he looks and behaves like a girl. It's some accident of nature and not forced or deliberate on the character's part like it is in 95% of other traps in anime. That he causes Hachiman to have occasional gay thoughts is part of the joke. It all gets lost in the usual discourse around traps, though.
