Ghostblade's a monster against anything fleshy and in a situation where he can move around a lot and go into hiding to make use of his stealth. The forest fight with Shindig shows this: if he can cut it and can move freely, he's able to demolish people with his stealth, speed and slashing.
The problem is E-Soul's entire thing is his speed, electricity, and defense. He can be just as fast as Ghostblade, probably faster, but he's armored up and emitting electricity that can transmit through the knives that he's blocking. Even worse for Ghostblade, E-Soul keeps making breaks for Johnny, which forces Ghostblade to play defense which he's not good at (not that the area they're in has good places to fall back and hide.

And it's been a mixed bag. It's basically covering the stories of 10 different heroes in this society where people believing things about you gives you super powers. Each character has had a few episodes of an arc to show who they are and deal with some conflict/growth.
First two arcs are REALLY good, and done in a beautiful high quality CG style.
Third arc onward it goes to standard animation, but it's still good quality. Story-wise the third arc is fine, but less interesting.
Fourth was kinda a nothing burger but had the sickest fight animation so far.
And the 5th, 6th and 7th arcs have all been tied together and flowing into each other, with the next episode (the ??? here) seemingly about to wrap them all up together in a big final brawl that is looking really hype. Individually, the stories were meh, but all together they could be good if they stick the landing.

Ngl I was 80% certain that the reason Nice killed himself was gonna have something to do with his boyfriend and being forced into a relationship with Moon. The only reason I wasnt 100% certain is because its China.

You're underanalizing things we need Cyan Queen and Loli even though they're less action oriented and deviate from the traditional hero path and fall more into the side hero persona but if everyone had the same backstory of sad life> bad thing happens> becomes hero then people would still be complaining about it but saying "well all the heroes in the show are the same they all have the same style of background and upbringing" LinLing and Esoul seem the best because they're the more classic heroes one who becomes a paragon of virtue and one who becomes actually a villain.
Ghostblade also seems better than the girls because he's basically a batman that kills but when you put them all together in a narrative the story is a solid 8/10
