Precure existed in Showa era, as Wartime propaganda against America during WW2.
2 protagonists are Cure Yamato who uses cure Katana which is like beam saber, and Cure Sakura who used cure naginata rifle which generates beam blade from bottom of rifle, and can shoot cure grenade, create sakura barrier. These 2 are Schoolgirls who are choosen by fairy sent from Imperial Japanese army.
It has fundoshishot, and shows full frontal and nipples on transformation bank, and there is fanservice scene where 2 protag girls doing yuri while only wearing fundoshis. And enemies are Americans who convert Japanese civilians into Burikiborg, named Buriki dan.
And it shows lots of gore when killing burikiborg, and burikiborg killing people.
But Showa precure's record is gone due to Bombardment destroying the film, tho. Left is Cure Yamato, Right is Cure Sakura.
But it revived as some surviving staffs sending some concept art of lost showa precure, and remade into Children's show with no killing villains, no pantyshot, no nudity, and more rules to adjust on 21th century. there was some Japanese fighters and Tanks with Showa Precure pin up art, with Cure Yamato and Cure Sakura in fundoshi.
