My takeaway from her arc is that her power isn't necessarily luck, and specially not luck toward herself. It's more manipulating probability/causality toward granting desires within her proximity. For example, she survived the airplane crash not because she was lucky, but because the people on the plane wanted her to survive because of how it'd be an injustice to her to die before she could even get to live her life.
To that end, for her powers to be an infinite trust glitch she'd have to want it to be that way, or someone else would and would have to tell her that's what they want for her.
