I remember hating his gimmick at first and then it became one of my favorite parts, especially when the henchman pointed out that he'd broken verse

As soon as it started copying Zootopia I stopped watching. One of the reasons I hate Beastars it's that it's a Zootopia knock off that inspired other Zootopia knockoff like this one.

did you even watch "odd taxi"? it pretty much follows the same narrative, by the time the seal guy with the nick wild like outfit on teamed up with the sheep lady after she saved his life I realized that I was wasting my time with this series and just stopped watching

strange I don't remember Odd Taxi getting any active threads?
like maybe a kinda active on air thread but that was about it.
Wasn't that popular.
>>281375111
it had a thread for each epboth as it aired and when subs dropped. fortunately it didn't pick up any obsessive troll spammers so it wasn't constantly on the front page and the threads were much nicer
Does the show even have a bad character? I feel like they do a good job with such a varied cast like even the intentionally annoying character (Taichi) and irrelevant characters (the stand up comedy duo) were great in their own way.
I can understand the movie ending ruining it for some people by taking out the scary ambiguity but I like Odokawa too much and get stressed out by ambiguous endings when theyโre about characters I like too much. so Iโm glad we know for sure what happened

He didn't forget, he just didn't want to admit to it because it runs counter to his tough guy image to just be wasting time playing gachashit and he had also used the name to do small time bitch scams like the Ebay one which would make Yano look more right about him.

I already felt like the whole psycho murderer plot was a bit out of tone for the show which was generally pretty tame so the original ending didn't sit right with me, felt like it was out of a different show entirely and the movie ending rectified that
Honestly I thought the fact Yuki was actually killed felt a bit dark and disappointing, I thought she was hiding out at Odokawa's place and whoever was killed was a patsy like a body from the morgue, and the cat at Odokawa's being just an explicit red herring with no deeper meaning was also kind of stupid
>>281378745
I don't mind that. I just think the movie sucked because of the interview format eating up screentime that would have been better off spent on several notable scenes they skipped, the whole thing being told after the fact making it clear they each get to the end just fine, and odokawa vision being applied to the interviews that take place after he's cured which he isn't even present for in order to preserve the reveal just rubs me the wrong way

Ehh i think the cat serves a purpose for a plot point they couldnโt fully explore because of the twist which is Odokawa can easily identify people but has a hard time telling them apart from animals.
As far as he could tell either Yuki or a random baby was just chilling in his apartment and he genuinely couldnโt tell. Then at the end he was freaked out to look until he learned it was indeed a cat
>>281378881 >seperate you from your money
Tanaka spend fucking $50,000 if I remember correctly.
like how do you even save up so much money?
I'm looser like him no friends, live alone, no hobbies and yet I only saved up like 15k so far with 35 years.
And pretty sure he is only in his mid twenties?
