This is on par with Renge crying over Honoka for me.

That last scene was so ridiculously sweet. There's a warmth to Arawi's comedy that really is hard to beat.

Niikura's segment with the soccer players was a lot better than I expected. A bunch of perverted high school boys surrounding some college chick and hitting her in the face with their balls? Could have been rough. But they actually made it pretty sweet and endearing and we got a ton of cute Niikura moments out of it and some great animation.
I also really wish we got audio from episode 5 when the soccer players came across Ecchan and Mitsuri. Somehow the tower episode got me invested in the soccer team, I'm amazed.

I love Wako!

This anime is truly a work of art. I'm not the biggest Kyoani fan, but this is one of the best things I've seen in years.

I've been a bit of a Niikura hater, I won't lie. I love the VA, but her character just never really did much that I cared about. I liked the stuff about her first getting into photography because of Nagumo, but that's about it. She's been kind of Nagumo and Wako's punching bag, and it's hard for me to like somebody who takes endless abuse and never stands up for herself. With the soccer team, at least she finally got properly angry at how all these bizarre things keep happening to her, and she wasn't taking any of their bullshit about chives and how they're bad at soccer. It felt like character growth to me.

Matsuri and Ecchan speaking english words didn't do much for me a couple episodes ago, but the delivery and emphasis on the "JOHN LENNON" by the VA got a chuckle outta me, really caught me off gaurd

I really loved the ending of this episode
It hits you like a freight train all at once and it doesn't give you time to process it. Cutting away immediately to the end credits and choosing not to linger on it was the right call. It made it hurt all the more because the ED is very upbeat and happy
It was brutal, bros. I have a dumb fucking smile on my face the entire time watching this show, but ESPECIALLY when these two would interact

They are shown interacting in ep 5, but you can barely tell Dr. Adatara is infuriated by Makabe's antics.
But yeah, they didn't adapt a chapter from the manga that leads to the award ceremony, where the three shop owners (Adatara, Makabe and the Chief editor of CITY mag) mess with the old guy.
