Read this years ago but dropped it for some reason before finishing. I got to the part where you were doing relationships with the other girls. I think the only ones I had left were the girl you work with at the restaurant and your boss at that other job I can't remember what it was I think a newspaper or something.
Every girl ending in sadness was getting old, not a big fan of the whole ntr theme to begin with. Should I pick it up again and try to finish it? Is it really worth it if I didn't care for the main girl very much to begin with? I'm pretty sure I've heard setsuna gets cucked again at the end and I get with my oneitis which is really not what I wanted.

Every girl gets an ending with Haruki, so the latter won't be such a problem. You'll have a lot more sadness to wade though on the way though. I thought the girls you hadn't gotten to yet were better than the one you finished, but YMMV. Personally I was obsessed with finishing the story for years, and it was broadly worth the wait.

You can say that Setsuna is the better girl, but only if you’re not Japanese because Kazusa is a) higher in the Japanese beauty standard, and b) more desirable because Japanese culture is obsessed with image and she’s a celebrity. That’s why, like all JP romances it’s strictly a mono-romance between a main couple, and the main girl is obviously Kazusa. The Kazusa route is obviously the main route, no one who’s played it seriously has any other opinion because it’s fucking OBVIOUS that Haruhi never once forgot about her and his soul refused to let her go.
