college drama? college wasn't the setting. it didn't even have a clear setting, focus shifted all over the place between several different characters. one moment the boring, personality-less "MC" is the focus, next minute it's the producer with the glasses, then one of the idol singers, etc.
it was simply a terrible anime devoid of any purpose. white album 2 was at least coherent.
