If you have something to say then don't be a bitch and say it. Explain why it was a meaningful use of chapters to revive a character, give him zero development, and them kill him the exact same way he died the first time.
It's got little to do with the character it happened to and everything to do with it being such a pointless gigantic filler decision.
If Izumi had been revived to be fought here instead, very little changes from the plot through Katastrophe but we get the catharsis of Kurono beating his ass in a one-v-one and then leaving him to die alone, the architect of his own demise (unlike the last Izumi death, which was a noble sacrifice out of nowhere for an axe-crazy mass murderer who killed Kurono's girlfriend for shits and giggles).
