V-jump isn't a seinen manga so there are more restrictions but still i wonder why they didn't just transfer some of the stuff from All Out to the manga in terms of how things are written there? Especially since the revival is in the same magazine as nisei was, just online.

Nisei weirdly falls into pitfalls that other shonen fell into that the original didn’t. Probably the one that hurts the most is Mantaro’s reliance on the Muscle Millennium, it’s just like the standard Ichigo throws a bigger Getsuga Tensho or Naruto making a bigger Rasengan. If there’s one thing I can definitely give it, it’s being so into wrestling that the actual fight choreography makes sense instead of being too into power gimmicks.

Not...really. Constellation was able to cut the ropes and Kevin's counter required him to be much more flexible than what should have been possible for him. It's similar to the Kinniku Buster situation where the move isnt really destroyed but the two peopel to counter it were very specific (Buffaloman being incredibly powerful and Asuraman having multiple arms. Even with the former, Suguru made the Neo Kinniku Buster for it.)

Why was Benkiman so based in the revival yet Barrierfreeman is so cringe? Yude clearly shows the ability to make you care about a minor antagonist from a grossout comedy fight, yet Jijoman still remains lame.

A good part of it his he design. Jijoman looks lkike a regular old man in a diaper. On top of that , the hemorrhoids thing felt more gross than normal coming off Mantaro dropping a detailed fresh turd in Wash Ass.

The revival also just has a different tone from Nisei all around.
