According to Oda, this is the last major arc. Given the length of other major arcs of One Piece, and his general failure to be good at estimating how long things will take, my guess is that One Piece ends at around the end of this decade.

One Piece has many arcs that sort of fit into greater arcs (which are also called sagas). For example, the whole Baroque Works arc includes Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, and then Alabasta. This is the kind of thing that I'm referring to, and that Oda is referring to, when he says that we're in the final arc. Not that where we are right now, Elbaph, is the end of the story, but that it's a leg in the final major arc of the story. The Final Saga, they call it. We're actually two arcs deep into it already, since Egghead was the first part.
