Season 2 ended on October 3rd in-universe, 45 main timeline novels have gone by since then and it is now early January, so about 3 and a half months have past in universe.
The Toaru timeline is a meme, each novel takes place over a few days with no down time in-between, just one world ending threat to the next, I can not even imagine how exhausted the main characters must be. Come on Kamachi, give them a couple weeks off or something!
