In my experience, if there's a specific creative vision I want to fulfil, then it's actually more of a hassle when working with genAI: instead of just drawing/writing the thing myself since I know exactly what I want, I have to write a description for a different entity to carry out, which is only going to give a second-hand account of my vision which is unlikely to be what I want, and will require continuously adjusting/waiting for it to generate again until I get fed up of the endless retries and just decide "fuck it that'll have to do I guess" with my actual vision unfilfilled. I were making it myself, that time would have been spent cultivating the skills that would enable me to do better in the future, instead of just waiting for it to generate.

The ideas are there but the people that use them aren't able to use it.
Besides the examples mentioned are a simple "change X for Y design" and nothing else, while it will look lewder it would be just what was intended, for example changing takagi moe design for the original, it will look lewder but it would be simply making certain stuff too obvious while takagi would be sexier (as originally was).

I think with the way the current blackboxes of model voodoo are assembled it'll never be able to make animations that don't look uncanny as fuck, which is why it's best application will always be shitposts. Still images aren't even there yet when you look at it without a boner, the jarring framerate and defaulting to something that looks like a freak combination of bad Live2d like something out of nikke/brown dust and rotoscope done on the cheap are things that'll always be present lest you use it for smear frames with an actual artist providing immense oversight. There's not a single good example of it being used well for actual video ITT, it's all intensely unpleasant to watch.
The results are probably only impressive to you because how many hoops and revisions you have to go through just to get such a sub-par result.

AI presents an opportunity for non-artists to be erotically creative. This is a great thing imo. I mean to some degree it’s essentially a tool that people can use to manipulate a scene to their liking, which in some cases brings our creativity.
For example, in the various diffusion related threads on 4chan, either at /g/, /e/, or literally any other art related board, people use it to generate porn or extend lewd/ecchi real/anime fanart or scenes.
But I haven’t seen it do anything drastic yet, if you tell me you can fix the entirety of the 3rd season+ of Seven Deadly Sins with AI and Diffusion, then I’d say yes.

Absolutely without question, but it would require sufficiently advanced tech for the sake of maintaining consistency and eliminating any issues and uncanny valley like problems, alongside proper vision and direction by 1 individual with or without a team working under him, rather than a team of directors, each doing his own thing and creating a mishmash that nobody would like.

Anime can be improved because it takes a lot of time, money, and effort creating each scene and episode. For the sake of efficiency and to maintain economic viability/profitability, they have to cut corners no matter what. With AI and a dedicated team, it would be possible to not only modify and improve existing scenes but also to add omitted things that didn't make the cut if the anime is an adaptation....
