It's so hard to call anything "of the year" or "of the season" since everything is split-cour with a wide open ending to be directly returned to 6mo-10y later and has no chance of standing up against a completed story
so even if Medalist or Kanpekiseijo or Kisekoi S2 deserve top marks, they have to be disqualified from the title
