People keep bringing up how the Zentradi horses are unimpressive 1v1 compared to other aliens (which is true), but have you considered how they had a bunch of seemingly boss level aliens aboard their ship that they kept for sport or some jind of attack dogs? I'll do you better, the entire sequence culminating in this page and Kurono attacking the aliens is great. I know people like to shit on the room of truth because of its numerous logical inconsistencies and the seemingly juvenile nihilistic tone, but there's a reason Oku put this much stock into this, narratively speaking. It's basically the culmination of one of the central themes of manga, which is about humans giving meaning to their existence in the face of a cold, uncaring and sometimes even cruel universe represented by a quasi omnipotent elder alien race telling humans their life are worthless by reviving and then destroying Kurono's loved ones, but being met by his defiance because he had found meaning in the bonds he formed with them and the love he had to Reika, even if he failed to harm the aliens.
