The question is largely irrelevant in the face of his fundamental problem: Jujutsu Kaisen is, at its highest level, a story about closeted cuckolds. Sadomasochistic cuckoldry is the answer that the power ceilings of the JJK universe are looking for. Take a look at what the ceilings of power all want. It isn't like, say, Naruto who uses fighting for pragmatism (obvious homosexual undertones aside). It isn't like Goku, who enjoys fighting in and of itself.
No, characters like Sukuna, Gojo, and Kashimo are drawn to tension. They enjoy the danger of loss. They fetishize vulnerability after spending so much time being inviolable. Look at the elation Sukuna displays after Gojo makes him tense up. Look at the smile on Gojo's face as he discusses his complete loss to Sukuna. Look at the veneration Kashimo has for the man who he knows he can't beat. This is where the aspect of masochism comes in.
It is unquestionable that, had they been exposed to the idea, Sukuna, Kashimo, and Gojo would be loaning their most prized possessions out to other men in order to explore that thrill of vulnerability. The elation they feel from the brief moments of tension in their duels would be exacerbated thousandfold as they watch their sexual superiors in action, dominating their women as they can only sit there and watch.
The humiliation they desire, at the hands of each other, is right within their reach. Alas, as this is not an 18+ manga, they're unable to reach the peaceful resolution that would satisfy them all. This, in truth, is their true curse.
And this is the reason why Okkotsu Yuta is such an anomaly in-universe (despite his, as the formerly pregnant male Kenjaku states, inability to emulate Gojo Satoru). He subverts cuckoldry. His low self esteem and kind disposition have resulted in his girlfriends' obsession with him. It's no coincidence said girlfriends are strong women and they still buck to him. He is the strongest heteronormative character in the manga.
