I am genuinely confused by this line of reasoning. People only know a very thin strip of potential knowledge in this world and participate on only a very small part of a given process. No one person can make a can from scratch and also the soda and be a doctor etc. This applies to everyone.
HOWEVER
Not everyone has psychic powers. Now what's interesting about psychic powers is that they're a means of applying FORCE and VIOLENCE. All authority in this world is derived from the threat of violence backed by the potential to make good on that threat. All laws are backed by law enforcement.
Therefore, a person with psychic powers is an entity more akin to the police or the military: a force capable of violence, and therefore capable of exerting power and therefore possessing authority.
Mob himself is an example of this: he is stronger, so he forces his views on those he disagrees with. Every single time. If Mob didn't have the powers he does, nobody would care about him or what he thinks.
The existence of law enforcement or the military do not require cops or soldiers to be able to replace the entire production line that goes into the creation of a soda can. The existence of people with psychic powers does not require the psychic individual to replace the entire production line that goes into the creation of a soda can. Psychic powers represent authority backed by force.
>b-but what gives you the right
Might makes right.
>b-but that's wrong
Then why does Mob use his might to force people to follow his ethical decisions?
>b-but he's conforming to society
I see, so conforming to society is good because Mob has a potential for the use of greater force and therefore can force others to conform to society.
>b-but
Might makes right.
