I just caught up with the anime this week but I haven't watched today's episode yet.
I thought for sure the yellow eye fag was a dark beast, even before Gart appeared showing others can indeed do it too.
I also thought it was odd that he mentioned "a black hair boy" taking the prince, when I am pretty sure Clevatess took it in dog form. And if he meant the boy that had the baby initially, the body should still be there in the castle ruins so why would they say that, and who the hell could possibly have seen Clevatess taking him and stayed alive to tell the tale otherwise.
It was also awfully convenient that the bandits reported to him about the baby right away too, when Vroko only really took notice of the baby after the magic shit, and before that it was just a random baby, that they were still interested obviously after what was revealed about them taking babies, but they got crushed pretty fast after the group were caught, when the hell did they report all this.
Seems a bit of a rushed development just to get more of the plot going, I don't know.
