I missed out on so many details because I read at 100% instead of 250%. the actions are much simpler than they seem if you pay attention through a magical spaghetti western Samurai Jack angle.
Also skeleton-fetus Cibo fucking dodged that. I didn't understand if the fetus dodged it or it was a decoy or if it tanked it, visually it really isn't clear unless you think like a 10 year old obsessed with Samurai Jack like me.

They really didn't need chapter 64 and 65 , it's already obvious that he wins in chapter 63.
Killy is doing a lot better than Jack in his quest. The fact he managed to find the net terminal gene at all should spell a win, LET ALONE holding it in his arms.

The final synthetic is basically Killy's doppelganger considering the armour just like Sanakan is female Killy.
In the final chapter you finally get to see the stars and an ocean filled with underwater plant life.
And you also get to see the knight kid wearing a gas mask to not get infected via microorganisms.

This is what happens when you come from a series with a lot more ambiguity. Yeah I'm used to ambiguity and unclear ending.

That of course also makes it very obvious to me when the author contradicts himself.
Sanakan suddenly changes sides? the safeguard goes from wanting to kill all infected humans to actually listening to the administrator and wanting to help restore the connection to the builders?

I appreciate it for what it is. Spaghetti western in a Giger setting. It doesn't matter that it's mediocre to me, compared to Tartakovsky it's infinitely better written. It's exactly why I love the parts both equally and separately. I enjoyed the Mobious, HR Giger, Brutalism influences and I'd go back to Blame! anytime to inspire myself if I was ever put in charge of the Alien franchise.
This is infinitely better as a prequel than ALIEN Prometheus+Covenant while ironically doing the same story.

Hearing rumours and what people said about bang blam, I see and I understand just like why The Thing was panned.

I see where the criticism for "lesbian BS ending" came from and I ignore it like an adult.
I saw the "Cibo and her pupperino!!" and I do not fall for puppies, barely 2 chapters, that's what everyone was fawning over? Fucking PETA lovers. Killy should have murdered a bunch of dog fetuses and pregnant dog bitches so I can grin just as hard as him while you guys screech in horror. Blame me. ;)

I also noticed a distinct lack of appreciation for Giger and many other things whenever I heard people talking about Blame!

I appreciate the fact there isn't much plot, I absolutely hated the tower plot and I rolled my eyes at that one chapter where Killy goes back in time temporarily.
I ended up enjoying the last story arc because it was only 10 chapters instead of 20 and then it suddenly goes back to Killy exploring stuff.
I really wanted more lego bricks food. :/

The netsphere where everything goes pink was really an amazing scenery too. I felt influences from something else which I wish I could find.

The very 1st chapter is absolutely great pacing wise and I abysmally hate long-ass stories that go for too long.
The 1st chapter is very self contained, has some decent looking villains that both get killed at the end as they should. Lots of great architecture especially the statues.

As for someone saying Cibo & Killy's "relationshit" is great, there is no relationshit.
I was bothered that Cibo's personality goes to 0 right after she stops being a talking skeleton. Again a great chapter cause it's so self contained.

I see and understand the complaints of "it's just this emo guy walking through architecture and barely anything gets said and done" and I absolutely would ignore you while listening at the same time.
When they went plot heavy and I hated every single secondary character. Secondary characters are tools for the plot, often time Killy is a tool just like a Jack or a Donald Duck. Killy kills stuff and is am embodiment for the plot, not a personality.

Blame! is great as a pitch bible from which to inspire many IPs from. Robots malfunctioning and building ad infinitum into space and from which silicon life arises which can infect biomass is an excellent premise and idea to implement into many other IPs without dragging the poor MC along for it. I am very content with Killy not being in Biomega and being reduced to verbal references.

Once again Blame is the prequel of a prequel I much needed in place of the garbage that is Prometheus.
Blame is the sci-fi lovecraft I needed and I absolutely give no fucks that it's Samurai Jack with a gun in a Moebius Giger setting because unlike you I have an open mind.

I absolutely love this and while objectively you'll rank it a measly 6/10 when you're feeling bad and a 8/10 when you're feeling good.
I rank this 51/10 for its idea and that idea for an Alien prequel is something none of your "But the character's personality, the story, the action is unclear, the gun is OP, there's too many contradictions, it's written by a 12 year old, it's not true Brutalism architecture, the art isn't as good as the cover" I tell you to shove it.
Cause a pure concept in the capable imaginative brains is worth a trillion times more than a 10/10 execution with a shit idea. I've got plenty of spaghetti westerns to watch if I want to, but none of them would have given me the true prequel of a prequel to Alien 1979.

The story and characters is mostly a clusterfuck because it was his first manga, even nihei himself said he didn't remember what was going on when he went back later to read it again, but artstyle alone makes it a classic.
